Everett Loyd Harvill

March 7, 1930 — December 8, 2015

Everett "Loyd" Harvill, age 85, of Ozark passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in his home. He was born March 7, 1930 in Highlandville, the son of Alfred Ross Harvill and Ethel Beatrice (Blevins) Harvill. He served his county in the Korean War. In 1949 he and Billie Jean Walker were married. After her passing Loyd married Judith (Gibson) Greene in 1988. Loyd retired from Tindle Mills in 1991. Coon hunting was Loyd's hobby, and he was rewarded by winning many trophies. He was member of New Hope Baptist Church where he served faithfully. Survivors include: His wife, Judith; three children, Alesia Gordon of Springfield, Wayne Harvill and wife Vicky of Ozark, and Tody Harvill and friend Diane of Ozark; a step-daughter Jolene Huff and husband Tom of Sparta; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Harvill of Sulfur, Oklahoma and Buddy Harvill of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Mert Hamm of Tucson and Coetta Cockrel of Denhem Springs, Louisiana; many special nieces and nephews and many friends. Loyd was preceded in death by his first wife Billie Jean, his twin brother Floyd Harvill, two sisters Vonda Harvill and Wanda Cutbirth, a step-son Joel Greene, a grandson Jeremy Harvill and two great-grandchildren Brandon and Fisher. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial with military honors will follow in Chadwick Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 - 7:30 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
