Everett Dean Barker

Everett Dean (Pap) Barker, age 92, of Nixa passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016. Everett was preceded in death by his parents; brother; sister; first wife Floydene; and two daughters Charlott and Janice. Everett is lovingly survived by his wife Juanita; 2 daughters Kay and Phyllis; 2 stepdaughters Rita and Freda; 2 brothers; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends. Everett proudly served his country during World War II in the Army. One of his proudest moments was going on the honor flight to the World War II Memorial, in Washington, D.C. Everett loved the Lord, cracking jokes, talking politics, and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 206 in Adams Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galena Cemetery, Galena.
