Eula Minnie Anderson

November 20, 1927 — October 30, 2012

Eula Minnie Larson Anderson was born on November 20, 1927 at Chambers Nebraska and passed away on October 30, 2012, at the age of 84 in Springfield. She was the youngest of ten children. Both her mother, Minnie Victoria Lindquist Larson and her father Casper Eric Larson were Swedish immigrants in 1889 and 1879. Eula attended rural school and then Ewing High School. In 1944 she committed her life to Christ in a Revival in Ewing. She taught in Holt County, Nebraska rural schools for seven years prior to her marriage to Cressel M. Anderson. In later years she attended College at Wayne State and graduated from Yankton College in 1970, the same year as her eldest son, Verlin, graduated from Bloomfield High School. She then taught Kindergarten and Elementary Music in Wausa, Nebraska for twenty-four years. The family enjoyed music and formed a singing group and sang in area churches as well as having a radio program over KMNS Sioux City, Iowa and KRBX O"�Neill Nebraska. Eula had been a church pianist for thirty-five years in area churches. Eula was the last remaining member of the Casper and Minnie Larson family. Survivors include her husband Cressel, children and spouses: Verlin and Doreen of Concord, NC; Sidney and Donna of Pierre, SD; Rodney of Phoenix, AZ; Jolene of San Clemente, CA; and Kelly and Carla of Ozark, MO. Eula had eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 3, at Nixa First Assembly. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Friday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Monday in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Memorials contributions may be made to Rural Compassion.
