Emily Louise Blevins

Emily Louise Blevins, age 94 of Springfield, formerly of Ozark, passed away May 31, 2013. She was born April 15, 1919 in Selmore, the daughter of Harry and Grace (Haguewood) Smith. On March 11, 1936 she married Holland Blevins. Louise enjoyed working at Walmart before retirement, playing Pitch with her daughters and sisters and playing piano. She also loved playing the slot machines. Survivors include: a daughter, Judy Crossland, Willard; two sons, Gary Blevins, Springfield and Ronnie Blevins, Bolivar; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Anna Stewart; three sisters, Emily, Leah and Helen; and a brother, Clyde. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Greenlawn North Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
