Emily Ellen Ballmann

Emily Ellen Ballmann, age 83 of Nixa, died Tuesday, February 11, 2020. She was born October 21, 1936 in Englewood, Colorado, the daughter of Luther and Alice (Marshall) Heathers. On May 4, 1957 Emily was united in marriage to Jerome Ballmann. Emily was of the Catholic faith. She worked many years as a cook for Fort Zumwalt Schools in O'Fallon, Missouri. Emily enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband, Jerome Ballmann of Nixa; her son, Jerome, Jr. "Jerry" Ballmann and wife Debbie and their children, Scott Michael Ballmann and wife Kristi, (and children, Sophia, Luke and Eli, all of Springfield,) her daughter, Teresa Ballmann of Nixa and her daughter Laurie Kershaw of Mohamet, Illinois; a sister, Sylvia Rossorelli of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews. Emily was preceded in death by her parents; and five sisters. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 14, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Nixa. A visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Thursday at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
