Emery Cochran

Emery Goff Cochran, aged 88 of Springfield, died November 13, 2023. He was born November 10, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa, the only child of Max and Ethel (Goff) Cochran. Emery served his country in the U.S. Army.

He lived for 12 years in Sun City, AZ followed by 25 years at Lake of the Ozarks before moving to Springfield, MO in 2001. Emery enjoyed many careers over his lifetime--tow truck driver, operator of a Texaco service station, co-owner with his wife Jeannie of a commercial cleaning business, and house painter to name a few. He is best remembered as an avid collector of Corvettes and model vehicles. Emery will be dearly missed by his many friends.

Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark. Burial will be with his late wife, Alberta Jean in Des Moines Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.
