Elizabeth Ann Fox

Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Fox, age 64, of Sparta, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 in her home. She was born February 15, 1950, in Sparta, the daughter of Nile Wesley and Eunice Lue (Robison) Smith. She was a 1968 graduate of Rogersville High School, and on May 2, 1970, she and Roy Lee Fox were united in marriage. Libby enjoyed crafts, and making afghans for the newborns of family and friends. She served as treasurer for Hilltop Full Gospel Church for the past 31 years, and was secretary for Tennison Logging. Survivors include: Her husband Roy; a son, Jerry Fox and wife Sheryl of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Christa Cooksey of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, David Fox and wife Kayla of Aurora, Missouri, and Kim Gray of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; five sisters and brothers, Sherry Bryant and husband Paul of Billings, Steve Smith and wife Sherry of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Connie Phelan and husband Jimmie of Miller, Missouri, James Smith of Rogersville, and Janet Hopper and husband Larry of Gatewood, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Dora Wallace and husband Jerry of Licking, Skip Hays and husband Lee of Ozark, and Mary Kathryn Collins of Houston, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Smith, her parents, and a brother-in-law, John Fox. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Harold Tennison and Rev. Mary Ann Keeland officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
