Edwin Edward Nichols

Edwin Edward Nichols, age 92, of Ozark, passed away May 1, 2014 in Ozark, Missouri. He was born April 28, 1922 in Nixa, Missouri, the son of William Thomas Nichols and Della (Hall) Nichols. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine of his brothers and sisters and is survived by one sister, Juanita Jackson of Springfield, and many nieces and nephews. As a teenager his family moved from the area. Edwin stayed with Myron and Leona White where he worked as a farm hand. He cared for the cows and delivered milk to homes in Ozark and later to processing plants in Springfield. Edwin had a wonderful grin and was constantly smiling. The White farm was his home for over seventy-five years. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 3, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in White Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday.
