Edna Marie Brooks

Edna Marie Brooks, age 79 of Sparta, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. She was born July 29, 1932 in Savonburg, KS, the daughter of Axel Theodore and Ethel Julia (Peterson) Brooks. On April 9, 1950 she married Ralph Brooks. Edna had retired from USD 259 as a library technician. Survivors include: her husband, Ralph Brooks; two children, Wesley Brooks and wife Patty and Gerald Brooks and wife Louetta; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her sister; two brothers; and a great grandchild. Arrangements under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Private burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield at a later date.
