Edna Gertrude "Mom"� Blevins, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012. She was born February 18, 1918, in Ozark, the daughter of Ralph and Jessie (Doran) Payne. Edna graduated Ozark High School and on November 11, 1939, she and Vernon Henry Blevins were united in marriage.
Edna had been a faithful member of Selmore Christian Church since the age of twelve. She taught Sunday school, enjoyed her quilting group, and was a CWF member, past president and secretary. She also was a 4-H leader and an Extension Club member.
Survivors include: Two children, Dr. Dale Blevins, Columbia, and Patsy Hanks and husband Dennis, Ozark; three grandchildren and their spouses, Brent and Lori Hanks, and Marty and Michelle Hanks, all of Ozark, and Jeremy and Laura Blevins, St. Joseph; six great-grandchildren, Cody, Easton, and Olivia Hanks, Parker and Sutton Hanks, and Joshua Blevins; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, in 2005, a brother Harold Payne, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Bud Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 "� 7:00 PM Monday in the funeral home.
