Earl Dean Presley, age 81, of Nixa, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2014. He was born September 20, 1932 in Bolivar, Missouri, the son of Tony and Velma (Killingsworth) Presley. He served his country in the U.S. Army. During his working career Earl drove an ice cream truck, worked for Dayco for many years, and owned Fall Creek Convenience Store.
On October 3, 1993 he and Goldie Marie Cummings were united in marriage. He was a member of Ozark Full Gospel Church. Earl loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed video games and gaming. He looked forward to being with his family and loved them all.
Survivors include: His wife, Goldie; children, Judy Hyatt, and Debbie Andrews, both of Springfield, David Presley and Daryl Presley, both of Arkansas, Amy Hart of Florida, Dean Presley of Oklahoma, Dale Cummings of Ava, Marcella Cummings of Springfield, Theresa Cox of Galena, and Trish Frossard of Joplin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Ilene Falk of Pleasant Hope, Kay Mason of Bolivar, Linda Davis of Rogersville, Norman Presley of Pleasant Hope, and Irene Kootz of Colorado.
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, in Ozark Full Gospel Church, with Pastor James Eakins officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Chadwick Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
