Earl Arthur Levesque, age 80, of Springfield passed away Friday October 14, 2016. He was born August 22, 1936 in Westerly, Rhode Island to William and Bertha (Beausolieu) Levesque. Earl served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was assigned to a B-52 Bomb Wing in equipment maintenance. After leaving the Air Force he worked in sales until he retired. Earl married Sherry Giggey June 29, 1957 celebrating 59 years of Marriage. Earl was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. His family says he was very handy and could fix anything. Earl was an avid Cardinals fan and followed the M.S.U. Lady Bears. Earl was a true family man and loved his family dearly.
Earl is survived by his wife Sherry; his children Karen Kroutil, of Springfield, and Michelle Engelby, her husband Randy, of Tulsa; a brother Wilfred Levesque, his wife Jackie, of Florida; grandchildren Lindsay Kyle, Matthew Kroutil, Erica, Clayton, and Spencer Engelby, Christopher and Bryan Levesque; three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents; a son Kevin; a brother William Levesque; and a son-in-law Joseph Kroutil.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Springfield. Burial will be at Payne Cemetery, Nixa.
