Earl Delmar Ferguson, age 95 of Nixa, died November 11, 2023. He was born September 26, 1928 in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Wayne and Iva (Dodsworth) Ferguson.

Earl served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

After his military service, Earl became an ordained minister and also worked as a carpenter.

Earl was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Nixa.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Ferguson of Nixa; his four children, Phillip, Shane, Tim and Jan; his stepchildren, Janet Eitel and husband Robert of Nixa and Carey Sullivan of Greentop, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; step grandchildren, Travis Eitel and wife Britney, Jordan and wife Harley, Keaton Eitel and wife Tyna, Tyler Sullivan and wife Destiny and Dillon Sullivan; several step great grandchildren; and a nephew, Robin Ferguson.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Regina; and his brother, Merle Ferguson.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
