Dorothy Draper Busch

Dorothy Busch, age 90, formerly of Galena, MO passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 in Olathe, KS. She was born March 16, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of George Oscar Watts and Eliza Jane (Draper) Watts. On June 16, 1942 she and Donald Hyrum Busch were united in marriage. Donald preceded Dorothy in death in 1998. Dorothy graduated from Weber County Utah High School in 1944. Dorothy and Donald settled in Galena after moving from California. Following Donald's death, Dorothy moved to Kansas. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints. Survivors include: Five children, Brent Busch of Westminister, CA, Donnie Farmer and husband Bill of Hot Springs Village, AR, Nancy Bever and husband Barrie of Punta Gorda, FL, Bonnie Ford and husband Wayne of Branson West, MO, and Laura Webb and husband Daniel of Olathe, KS; twelve grandchildren, Kelly, Brenda, Rebecca, Stephanie, Denise, Darren, David, Tiffany, Michelle, D.J., Aaron, and Elizabeth; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, December 19, from 11:00 - 12:30 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside funeral will follow at 1:00 PM Saturday in Spokane Cemetery.
