Doris Catherine Reynolds, age 87, of Ozark was greeted by two daughters in heaven Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was born January 2, 1935 in Dyer, Arkansas, one of 11 children of Rufus Oscar Brown and Harriett Priscilla “Hattie” Brown. She was raised in Alma, Arkansas.
Doris dedicated her life to her family. Her children and grandchildren knew they were loved unconditionally by Doris. She enjoyed reading and gardening, and before arthritis prevented it, she did sewing and all kinds of needlework. Many people in the area knew Doris as a greeter at Walmart in Ozark for 25 years.
Survivors include: five children, David Reynolds of Willard, Sandra Hunter of Springfield, John Reynolds and wife DeAnn of Springfield, Tina Lansaw and husband Keith of Joplin, and Judy Scribner and husband Michael of Springfield; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Roe of Mulberry, Arkansas; a brother, Jack Brown of Alma, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Doris was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Rasco, and Sharon Achor, eight brothers and sisters, and the father of her children, Mancle D. Reynolds.
A Funeral Service will be at 11:00AM Saturday, May 14, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge. Visitation will be from 10:00AM Saturday until service time in the funeral home.
