Doris Faye Cutbirth, age 86 of Clever, formerly of Reeds Spring, passed away in her home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was born March 11, 1933 in Abesville, Missouri, the daughter of Clyde and Neva (Richardson) Davis. On September 21, 1950, Doris was united in marriage to Dean Cutbirth.
Doris attended Finley River Cowboy Church. She enjoyed baking cookies and giving them to neighbor children. Doris's other baking specialties were German Chocolate cake and fried raisin pies.
Survivors include: her children, Kathy Ramsey of Nixa and her son, Daryn Davis and wife Melissa of Springfield, (Gavin and Kendall Davis,) and daughter Karyn Price of Sparta, (Mason Price,) Kenny Cutbirth and wife Glenda of Rocheport, and daughter, Shelly Wallin and husband Chad of Battlefield, (Taylor, Haylee, Madison and Kennedy Wallin,) and son Jason Cutbirth and wife Renae of Nixa, (Morgan, Addison, and Westin Spencer and Trent Cutbirth,) and Karen Hardin of Clever, and daughter Trinity Pace and husband Mac of North Carolina (Marley and Edward Dean Pace,) and son Travis Hardin of Clever (Tyler and Kynslee Hardin;) a brother, Russell Davis, Arizona; a sister, Merle Mallonee, Hurley and a daughter in law Nancy Cutbirth, Texas.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Cutbirth in 2015; and a son, Randy Dean Cutbirth in 2005.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor J.R. Rantz officiating. Burial will follow in Crane Cemetery, Crane, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Wednesday immediately before the funeral at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
