Donovan Dale "Don" White

Mr. Donovan Dale "Don" White, age 86, of Nixa, Missouri passed away July 13, 2015 in Ozark Riverview Manor. He was born August 10, 1928, in Westmoreland, Kansas, the son of Carroll and Faith (Roberts) White. Don served his country in the United States Army for two years. After leaving the Army, he worked for ADT Security Systems as a security alarm installer for 34 years. On May 15, 1955, Don and Carol were united in marriage; Don enjoyed fishing, playing pool, spending time with his family and his cat "Sophie." He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his loving wife, Carol White, Nixa, Missouri, three children: Kim White, Nixa, Missouri, Mark and wife Kob White, Ozark, Missouri, Julie McCroskey, Nixa, Missouri. Four grandchildren: Erin and husband Joe Evans, Clever, Missouri, Brooke McCroskey, Nixa, Missouri, Jemmie White, Ozark, Missouri, and Benz White, Ozark, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers David White, and infant brother Marvin White. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 17, 2015 in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa burial will follow in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday in the funeral home.
