Surrounded by loved ones, Donnie Jean (Mitchell) Leming, age 82, of Ozark, finished her life-long walk of faith with Jesus and entered into her eternal place of peace on Monday, February 3, 2014.
Donnie was born November 25, 1931 in Garrison, Missouri to Thomas Calvin and Martha Matilda "Tillie" Mitchell. She was joined in marriage to William Andrew "Bill" Leming on November 27, 1953, and from this union two beautiful children were brought into their lives.
Donnie's greatest passion was her family. Church was her "home away from home", and she faithfully served Ozark Baptist Temple for forty years. Donnie loved flowers and was known for her beautiful iris garden. She was saved at an early age and attended school in Garrison.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Bill, her son, Keith, her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving her are her daughter, Cathy Leming, Ozark; daughter-in-law, Paula Williamson and her husband Kent, Cabool; three grandchildren, Kara Vinson and her husband Landon, Nathan Leming and his wife Brandy, and Jesse Hedgpeth; five great-grandchildren; and a host of loved nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Swansville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Wednesday until service time in the funeral home.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
