Donna Kay Pearson passed away in her home in Spokane, September 28, 2017. The only child of Donald and Frances (Flood) Eisenhour, Donna was born November 13, 1945. She made her home on the Eisenhour homestead adjacent to the cemetery donated by their family.
Donna received her Bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master's degree in education from Drury University. Highlandville Elementary School was fortunate to have Donna teach there for twenty-six years. After retirement Donna traveled throughout the United States and to foreign countries. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and was interested in local Missouri history. Her family was the delight of her life, and she always looked forward to visiting with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: Two sons, Don Kennon and wife, Heidi of Lexington, Kentucky, and Brandon Kennon of Slidell, Louisiana; two daughters-in-law, Mary Hagan and Shasta Kennon; six grandchildren, Grace, Kate, Madison, Tristan, Makaylie, and Ethan; her mother, Frances Eisenhour of Hollister; step-daughter, Tara Mooneyham; and step-grandchildren, Tia and Ty, and Drew.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Virgil in 2014, her father Donald Eisenhour, and a step-son, Tony Pearson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 3, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. A family graveside service will be held on Wednesday in Eisenhour Cemetery, Spokane.
