Don W. Noyes beloved husband, father and grandfather of Highlandville, Mo passed away at Cox South in Springfield, Mo. Friday, May 31. He was 80 years old.
Don was born in Halfway, MO to Estel and Golden (Grant) Noyes on August 14, 1938. He graduated from Pleasant Hope High School in 1956. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from April 1960 to April 1964. Don worked for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Southern California as a District Manager and retired in 1993. Don and Shirley (Bishop) were married December 19, 1987 in San Dimas, Ca. They moved to Highlandville, Mo upon retirement. He has served as a deacon at the First Central Baptist Church of Highlandville for the past 20 years.
Don enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing. But most of all loved spending time surrounded by his family.
Don was preceded in death by his mother and father Estel and Golden Noyes, his son Tim Noyes, brothers Darrell Noyes, Okel Noyes, Joe Noyes, Bernell Noyes, sisters Audrey Roland and Ina Moody. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Bishop) Noyes, daughters Pam King of Whitter, CA and Robin and husband, Jonathan Packwood of Bois D'arc, Mo. Step-children Janice and husband, Everett Evans, Springfield, Mo, Robert and wife, Cristine Case of Fair Grove, Mo. Sisters Sharon Dominey of Highlandville, Mo and Alice Bussey and husband, Bill, Lake Havasu, Az.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Mo. Viewing is Wednesday, June 5, 5-7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home and funeral service will be held Thursday, June 6 at 2 p.m., First Central Baptist Church, 794 Hopkins Rd., Highlandville, Mo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.
A private burial will be on June 14, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
