Diane M. Scanlan

Diane M. Scanlan, age 67, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 in her home. She was born June 14, 1944, in South Haven, Michigan, the daughter of James S. and Jeanette Loretta (Bauer) Scanlan. Mrs. Scanlan was employed as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Polish Catholic Church. She enjoyed crafts including making floral arrangements. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Her husband Dan Scanlan preceded her in death in 1987. Survivors include: Four children, Daniel Scanlan III and Jackie, Nixa, Amanda Erin Scanlan, Springfield, David H. Zieske, Jr, Springfield, and James J. Zieske and Tammy, Springfield; two sisters, Carol Sellers and Robert, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Elizabeth Nolan, Arlington Heights, Illinois; and two brothers, James Scanlan, Norwalk, California, and Robert Scanlan and wife Terry, Parkton, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday in Bartlett Cemetery, Village of Bartlett, Illinois.
