Dee Cloud

Deidre "Dee" Cloud, age 66, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on January 4, 2016 with her family by her side after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Dee laughed easily and was deeply devoted to her family, her friends, and her faith. She was born in Gulfport, Mississippi in 1949 and moved to Springfield with her family in 1965. Dee met Larry, the love of her life, in 1969. They married in February 1971 after he returned from Vietnam. Dee is survived by her husband, Larry, of Nixa; her daughter, Stanci Cloud Soderstrom of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her son, Eric Cloud, of Taylor, Texas; and two granddaughters, Madeline and Keely; and her sister Val Hall, of Sherwood, Arkansas. A visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa on Thursday, January 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home, with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Springfield.
