Dedrick Edward Bouchard Sr., age 69, of Ozark, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in his home. He was born January 1, 1950 in Manistique, Michigan, the son of Alexander and Avis (Leivdal) Bouchard. Dedrick grew up in Michigan on an apple farm. He served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Korea before returning home to Michigan. At that time he started his career in construction, continuing until retirement.
In 1981 the family moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Dedrick was talented in his trade and a hard worker. He enjoyed gardening and building projects with little effort. Following retirement Dedrick moved to Ozark. He has enjoyed farming alongside his son, Rick.
Survivors include: His son Rick Bouchard and wife Crystal, of Ozark; two daughters and their husbands, Amanda and Jake Olsen, of Vernal, Utah, and Heide and Mike Johnston, of Severance, Colorado; seventeen grandchildren, Triston, Benjamin, Nesanet, Hadassah, Jackson, Kyron, Shadan, Amy, Yixi, Judah, Oliver, Ashley, Kayleigh, Makenna, Vincent, Joshua, and Kaden; three great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Shailei, and Ava; brothers and sisters, Fran, Terry, Pat, Wendy, and Diana; and his fianc�, Tara Fender.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Al.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 24, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial with military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
