Debra Dove

Debra Diann Dove, age 67, of Highlandville, MO passed into her heavenly reward on February 8, 2022.

Debra entered this life on April 10, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Truman and Roma Lee (Delay) Cato. She was a faithful servant of God and was baptized on July 18, 1965, in Greenbrier, MO. She was a graduate of Zalma High School class of 1972.

She is survived by her loving husband Gene Dove, daughters Jaime Bernhardt (Mark), Tiffany Johnson (Aaron), son Chase Ridings (Chelsea), granddaughters Taylor Adams (Shaun), Morgan Terrell, Makayla Johnson, Faith Bernhardt, great granddaughter Paislee Adams, brother Eddie Cato (Jeannie), niece Bailey Czupryk (Josh), nephew Andrew Cato (Elyce), great nephew Grayson Czupryk, and numerous loving extended family members and friends.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Bella Bernhardt.

Debra worked for the Federal Government in many roles. After 33 years, she retired from the social security administration where she worked as a disability claims representative. She loved her family, friends, and her animals. She also enjoyed bike rides on the back of the Goldwing with her husband. Anyone who knew Debra was touched by her kindness, sweet temperament, and loving soul.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, The Pregnancy Care Center in Springfield, MO., Wells of Joy Church in Nixa, MO, Acoustic Neuroma Association of Springfield, MO., or Watching Over Whiskers.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 am Friday, February 18, 2022, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 5-7 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the church.

Private family burial will follow the service.
