Deborah Kay (Graves) Martin, age 64, of Spokane passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was born April 27, 1952 in Wichita, KS to David L. Graves, Jr. and Beulah Fern (Borror) Shoemaker.
Debbie was a 35 year resident of the Ozarks area, living the past 15 years in Spokane, MO with her partner of 28 years, Marty Young. She worked in production and healthcare before becoming a homemaker.
Deborah is survived by Marty Young who still resides in the home; her daughter Kayla Renee Heeren of Joplin and her wife Amanda Heeren; Debbie's four grandchildren; sisters Rosie Nazzaro and her husband Gerard of Ozark, MO and Paula Griffith and her husband Howard of Springfield, MO; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her father David L. Graves, JR. and his wife Leona in California.
Deborah was preceded in death by her mother Fern Shoemaker and stepfather Merrill "Bud" Shoemaker.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Riverdale Baptist Church, Nixa, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating.
