Dean Hess

Dean L. Hess, 77, of Boaz passed away on January 27, 2019 of heart complications following surgery. Dean was widely traveled and saw much of the world through his work with Western Geophysical Company and Norpac Exploration Services. He served his country in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. His final employment was with Diversified Plastics Company in Nixa. Never a procrastinator, he always took pride in his work for his employers and in his projects during retirement. Dean was loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years Beryl, son David Dean (Meghan) of Arlington TX, sisters Maralee Morris, Ft. Collins CO; Sharon (David) Goolsby, Spartanburg SC; Lynette Mott, Arvada CO; nieces, nephew and friends. His infant son John Allen preceded him in death. No formal services are planned; burial will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Christian County Museum and Historical Society.
