Dawn Renee Tooth

Dawn Tooth, age 46, passed away on March 5th 2020 at her home in Ozark. She lived with her husband, Nick Tooth, and dearly loved pets. Dawn was born on July 13th, 1974 in Springfield Missouri to Donna and Harland Schroeder. She especially loved working with animals and kids and was a member of the 4-H horse program helping to teach riding lessons. In addition, she enjoyed creating art and giving her work as gifts for friends and family. She received her Masters in Special Education and worked closely with schools and programs that provided assistance to children with special needs. She is survived by: Her husband, Nick; three step-daughters, Ella, Katy, and Rohana; a son, David; her parents, Harland and Schroeder; her dogs, Sir and Luna; a horse, Tootsi; and extended family and friends. In Lieu of flowers, donations toward "Mr. Nick's" playground for special needs children will be accepted. Donations can be made online at Supportsps.org/donate and designate it to "Dawn Tooth" or by check/cash made payable to the Foundation for SPS with "Dawn Tooth" in the memo to 1131 Boonville, Springfield, Mo 65802. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be from 4:30-5:00 P.M. immediately before the service in the funeral home.
