David Matthew Wade was born on February 10th, 1967. He was born in Pomona California. David passed away on Monday October 22, 2018 at the age of 51 surrounded by all of his family and friends.
David loved his family and friends very much and was loved very much in return by everyone. David was very active in the community when he was able to be and enjoyed doing various volunteer work.
After David received his donor kidney many years ago he decided he wanted to give back in some way and went on to become an EMT and licensed CERT trainer and volunteered with the Humansville Fire Dept. as well as the American Red Cross.
David also was very proud of being able to audition and have a starring role in a community theatre play of "The Little Shop of Horrors" in which he played Mr. Mushnik. David will tell you that this was a huge accomplishment for him as he had to learn lines, dance routines and all while singing on stage in front of people, all the while considering himself somewhat agoraphobic. He was so proud.
David had many health struggles through the years, but always managed to keep a smile on his face and stay positive. Many will tell you that they did not even know that he was sick at times.
David was preceded in death by his Mother Alice Freeman of Galmey, MO. He is survived by his loving husband, Ray Hickcox of Hermitage, Missouri, Father and step mother Daniel and Corine Chagolla of Pomona California, Son Jacob Erwin and son-in-law Louis Erwin of Saint Charles Missouri, Sister Alisa Wade of Peculiar Missouri, Sister Cherie Wade of Springfield Missouri, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
David will be remember by all those who knew him. We all have a journey and path that we follow on this planet, for those of us that our path intersected with David's we will never be the same, all because we knew him.
He is forever in our hearts, and now flies with the angels.
