David Rozell

David Rozell, age 73 of Nixa, Missouri formerly of Branson, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri to the late Lon and Ethel (Blunk) Rozell.

David graduated from Crane High School in 1967, and then attended SMS. In 1974, David was united in marriage to Kay Gadeken. Together they owned and operated the Sears Catalog Store in Branson, Missouri. David was very active in his community, serving one term at the Taney County Coroner, Branson School Board President, president of the Branson Daybreakers Rotary Club, board member on the Taney County Ambulance District and College of the Ozarks Associates. David also worked in law enforcement, retiring in 2011 from the Taney County Sherriff’s office as a detective.

David was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lawrence C. Rozell, and infant brother Lon R. Rozell. He is survived by his wife Kay Rozell of the home, daughter Staci Hambaugh and husband Bobby of Jeffersonville, Indiana, granddaughters Rylie Hambaugh and Paige Hambaugh, and one great grandson, Reign.

Memorial contributions may be made to College of the Ozarks in memory of David.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Adams Crematory.

Arrangement are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
