David Earl Dickison, of Ozark, Missouri, born on March 13, 1943, to Artha (Hansen) Crane, passed away on December 17, 2024, surrounded by his family.
David was a hardworking and curious young man who loved staying busy. Over the course of his life he held seventy different jobs, showing his strong work ethic and determination. He had a lifelong passion for cars and was truly a "Jack of All Trades," always willing to fix or build whatever was needed.
After high school, David worked as a Greyhound Bus Driver for 25 years. He later continued his career as a truck driver for H2O Trucking Company until his retirement. Through his dedication and hard work, David provided a good life for his family, who meant everything to him.
David married his wife, Kathy, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. They were blessed with two daughters, Stacie Malam and Jennifer Landry, who brought him great pride and joy. He was a role model for his family, showing them the value of hard work, kindness, and humor.
Known for his playful sense of humor, David loved joking around, playing cards with friends and family, and watching NASCAR. Some of his happiest times were spent boating on the lake with his loved ones, making memories that will be cherished forever. David was also a proud member of the local Elks Club.
David Earl Dickison will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend—a man who worked hard, loved deeply, and enjoyed life’s simple moments. His family and friends will always treasure the time they had with him.
David is survived by: two daughters, Stacie Malam (Jody), Jennifer Landry (Josh); two brothers, Chris Dickison, Joe Dickison (Diane); one sister Pamela Wells (Todd); four grandchildren, Jacey Suda, Jenna Jost (DJ), Paxton Landry, Brock Landry; one great grandchild, Lorelei Jost and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
David is preceded in death by: his mother, Artha Crane; his wife, Kathy (Carranza) Dickison; and two brothers, Jack Baker, and Cary Crane.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri with the Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Selmore Cemetery, Ozark, Missouri. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
