David Bruce Adams, age 61 of Nixa, died November 28, 2018. He was born March 11, 1957, the son of Leonard and Genevieve (McCauley) Adams.
Bruce enjoyed all sports, especially fishing, growing to love deep sea fishing. He took his canoe on the Finley River. Bruce was a huge NASCAR fan and was interested in all things with a motor. He was an avid Harley rider, often joining his friends to ride in Sturgis, South Dakota along with local backroad rides. Bruce played softball for close to 30 years during his adult life. He was an official board member of the annual Testicle Festival since 2009. Bruce could often be found sitting on his front porch swatting flies and chasing off birds with his BB gun and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include: his wife Yvonne; son, Steven Adams; two stepsons, Chance Barton and Travis Huff; a brother, Mike Adams and wife Carla; sister in law, Mary Ann Adams; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Adams; and his parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 in McCauley Cemetery, with Les Day officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1 PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
