Daryl William Zeigler

Daryl William Zeigler, age 54 of Ozark, passed away December 22, 2011. He was born August 30, 1957 in Olathe, Kansas, the son of Harold and Grace (Steinert) Zeigler. On August 14, 1976, Daryl was united in marriage to Sandra Wyatt. Through their marriage they had a son, Daryl Dwayne Zeigler, known to family and friends as Ziggy. Daryl lived most of his life in the Highlandville and Ozark area. He was employed through Citywide Concrete as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. A good bargain at a garage sale always brought a smile. Daryl was a loving husband, father, and friend. His life was full of laughter, kindness and love. He believed in treating others as he wanted to be treated. Survivors include: his wife, Sandy Zeigler; three sisters, Joyce Smith, Janice Hammers and husband Manuel, and Joan Essick and husband Darrell; a brother, Garld Zeigler; and five sisters in law, Jacki Braden and husband Larry, Pam Prior and husband Mike, Cheryl Scrivner and husband Doy, Debbie Dowling and husband Patrick, and Donna Stuart and husband Timmy; nieces and nephews. Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Patsy Wyatt, his son, a brother Calvin Zeigler; a brother-in-law Kenneth Wyatt, a nephew Travis Zeigler, and a niece Melanie Wyatt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Collins Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
