Darrell Wayne Johnson, age 48 of Ozark, died April 3, 2023. He was born November 13, 1974 in Stockton, California, the son of Wayne Darrell Jenkins and Debra (Pellham).
Darrell served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a forklift operator for Diversified Plastics. Darrell was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He was a movie buff and also enjoyed listening to The Bob & Tom Show podcast. Darrell enjoyed playing Resident Evil 4 with his daughter, Madison.
Survivors include: his daughter, Madison Johnson of Springfield; Madison’s mother, Renee Johnson of Branson; his mother, Debra Harvey and husband Rusty of Ozark; his father, Wayne Darrell Jenkins of Taneyville; his sisters, Vanessa Garnsey of Springfield and Beverly Crites and husband Kent of Gunter, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation with military honors will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Military honors will be at 3:00 p.m. followed by visitation. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation by Adams Crematory, Ozark. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
