Darold Gene Rainey

     Darold Gene Rainey, age 62 of Springfield, passed away March 15, 2024.  He was born June 27, 1961 in Springfield, the son of Harold and Betty (Bolin) Rainey.

     Darold was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed riding anything with wheels – motorcycles, four wheelers, and tractors.  Darold loved jumping into a cold creek and kayaking down the river.  He spent many hours building and shooting firearms. Darold truly was a kid at heart.  

     Survivors include: his daughter, Callie Rainey of Springfield; his life partner, Sheryl Svoboda; his sister, Lynette Weatherford and husband David of Springfield; a niece, Alexis Weatherford of Springfield; and a nephew, Bryson Weatherford of Springfield.

     Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
