Darlene Shafer

            Darlene Shafer, age 77 of Ozark, died June 11, 2023 surrounded by several loved ones.  She was born September 29, 1945 in Picher, Oklahoma, to Oscar Loyd and Elsie (Simpson) Shafer.

            Darlene worked as an accounting clerk for Arkansas Western Gas in Fayetteville Ar. for over 25 years. 

            Darlene loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Ozark Assembly of God. 

           Survivors include:  her sister, Clara Greaves of independence Mo. her granddaughter Felicia Baker and husband Adam, grandson Bobby Crafton, great grandsons Seth and Grant Baker, all of Ozark; plus a host of family and friends. 

           She was a joy to be around and will be greatly missed. 

            Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, son Gregory Keith Crafton; daughter, Angela Dawn Crafton, her brother  Leroy Shafer, and sister Freda Linn. 

            A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Ozark Assembly of God, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Keith Surface officiating.

            Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
