Darlena C. Trammell

Darlena Carol Trammell, age 69 of Ozark, passed away October 12, 2021. She was born June 20, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Cotella (Mullins) Norton. Darlena graduated from New Life Bible College in Tennessee with her husband Larry. She served as a minister throughout her life. Darlena enjoyed crafts – especially cross stitch. She was an avid reader, especially Biblical Studies. Darlena had a loving spirit, always thinking about helping those in need. Survivors include: her husband, Larry Trammell of Ozark; children, Jeremiah Newhaus and wife Angie of Lincoln, Illinois and Tina Johanson of Pike County, Illinois; Jon Paul Trammell of Poplar Bluff and Kim Baugh and husband Gary of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Felix Trammell, Harley Trammell, Emily Newhaus, Alexis Bowles and Jacqueline Trammell; and four great grandchildren; five siblings, Debra Hudgens, Danny Norton and wife Kathy, LaVonda Montgomery and husband Daryl, Dale Norton and Eddie England wife Mary; and eleven nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. Bridges officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
