Danny Sissel

Danny Lee Sissel, age 69 of Sparta, died Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born July 29, 1954 in Joplin. On December 21, 1985 he and Karen Sue Key were united in marriage.

Danny was a Mason by trade. He loved riding his motorcycle and belonged to the Shadow Riders group. He enjoyed building model cars.

Survivors include: His daughter Jennifer Strader and husband Christopher, and two sons, Adam Sissel and wife Brandi, and Daniel Sissel; grandchildren, Kieven, Ethan, Abigail, Lane, Dalton, Lathan, Killian, Kimber, Destiny, Isabella, and Oliver; three brothers C.J. Drane, Basel Drane, and Richard Drane; a sister, Dee Goodnight; other relatives and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, in 2020, a son Jason Sissel, his mother Peggy, and grandparents.

A funeral will be 4:00 PM Thursday, August 17, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with a time for visitation following.
