Danny Lee Lambert Sr., age 64, of Spokane, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was born June 23, 1949 in Sacramento, California, to John Greenville Lambert and Ethel L. (Garrigus) Lambert. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a water craft operator.
Danny was a construction worker. He loved fishing, camping, traveling, and woodworking. He also enjoyed coaching baseball for Spokane school.
Survivors include: His two sons, Danny Lee Lambert, Jr. of Boonville, Missouri, and John Joseph Lambert of Cameron, Missouri; four uncles, Leonard Lambert and wife Jackie of Willows, California, Gordon Lambert of Willows, California, Charles Lambert of Wheatland, California, William "Bill" Lambert and wife Nelda of Reno, Nevada; one aunt, Wilda Ohrund of Gridley, California; a brother-in-law Harold LeBlanc and wife Peggy of Morgan City, Louisiana; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Marjorie Jane (LeBlanc) Lambert; and his parents.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 19, at 2:00 PM in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Rev. Randall Harwood and Rev. Jack Keithley officiating. Burial will follow in Schupbach Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday.
