Curtis was born August 25, 1981 and passed away in 2019. He was the son of Paul Goodwin and Sharon Kay (Nelson) Goodwin.

Curtis is survived by his father, Paul Goodwin of Sparta; his son, Braxton Williams of Mustany, Oklahoma; his daughter, Natalie Goodwin of Springfield; his brother, Chris Goodwin and wife Maris of Springfield, his uncles, Lloyd Goodwin of Elkhead, Bob Goodwin and wife Mona of Springfield, Dewey Nelson and wife Millie of Ozark, Jim Nelson and wife Bonnie of Oldfield, and Jerry Nelson of Oldfield, his aunts, Edith Flippo of Highlandville, Judy Bates of Wichita, Kansas, Katherine Caudill of Oldfield, Bobbie Mitchell and husband Eddie of Galena, and Kathleen Short of Ozark.

Curtis was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Kay Goodwin; grandparents, Paul Sr. and Cheriot Goodwin of Highlandville, Leo and Bertie Nelson of Ava, Betty (Goodwin) and Fred Bartlett of Redfield, Arkansas and JC and Pat Nelson of Oldfield.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark.
