Joseph Craig Coleman, age 75, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born October 26, 1942 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Joseph John and Lucille (Mott) Coleman, the youngest of six children.. He grew up in Irrigon, Oregon. Craig served his county in the U.S. Navy.
Craig was a Union Steel Painter, traveling over a wide area wherever his craft was needed. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and liked all things about motorcycles. After discharge from the Navy Craig rode from the east coast to the west coast as a celebration. He was a great story teller, bending ears for those listening. He also loved being a practical joker.
Survivors include: his children, Marvin Coleman and wife Dawn of Prosser, Washington, Kevin Coleman and wife Robbin of Pendleton, Oregon, Stacy Coleman and wife Lorie of Murrieta, California, Michelle Gale and husband Darrell of Irrigon, Oregon, Vickie Harrod and husband Bobby of Ozark, Missouri; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Coleman.
Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 2016, two sisters, two brothers, and his parents.
A graveside service will be 9:00 AM Thursday, July 5, in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark.
