Cora Beatrice Lindsey

Cora Beatrice Lindsey, age 74, of Ozark, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. She was born September 19, 1942 in Springfield, the daughter of Laddie and Mary Walker. Cora retired from Ozark Bank. She had earlier been employed by Native Wood in Ozark. Cora was proud of her Cherokee Indian Heritage and was an active member of the Will Rogers Indian Club. She enjoyed her dogs, and loved her daughter, Katrina, who so lovingly took care of her. Survivors include: Her daughter, Katrina Hunt of Springfield; a sister, Alene Miller of Republic; a niece and nephew Alice Miller and Willie Miller; several beloved step-children and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Hunt, and her second husband Jack Lindsey. A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Thursday, March 9, at Weaver Cemetery, Ozark. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SeniorAge.
