Connie (Moore) Harp, age 59, of Nixa passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. She was born January 23, 1962, to Bob and Nancy (Owens) Moore.
Connie was a 1980 graduate of Nixa High School and attended SMS (MSU) in Springfield, Missouri. She worked in the library while attending college. She also worked at Seubers Wholesale Jewelry, in Ozark, Missouri. After having her first child, she became a stay-at-home mom and also did in-home childcare. When her youngest started Kindergarten, she began her career with Nixa Public Schools as a Parent Educator. For the next 23 ½ years, she passionately helped countless children & families in early childhood education.
She was a life-long member of Nixa Church of Christ and was baptized in 1974. There she was a mentor and friend to many. She loved the Lord and it showed through her love for others.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother Mark, sister-n-law Cindy, maternal grandparents Clifford & Inez Owens and paternal grandparents Leslie and Dora Moore.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Moore; children Aaron and Justin Thorn, Amanda and Ethan Fenley, Alesia and Andrew Carter, and her favorite child Sammie; grandchildren Owen and Olivia Fenley, Levi and Laynie Carter; and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, with a visitation immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
