November 2, 2021 Connie June Coffer reached and took daddy's hand and entered Paradise at 1:25 AM at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Connie was born on December 21, 1935 where she lived with her parents in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. Then after she grew up they moved to Grandview, Washington where she eventually met the man that stole her heart. Roy and Connie were united in marriage on July 19, 1955 in Grandview Washington where they met picking fruit in the orchards. Roy asked Connie out on a date and made sure that her brother had something else to do so he could take Connie to the movies by himself. Two short weeks later they were married and celebrated 60 years of marriage before God called Roy home
Connie was a dedicated Christian and was always at church when the doors opened. She loved God and showed her children how to seek the Kingdom by her example. She served as Mrs Santa for 50 plus years along side her Mr Santa and enjoyed all the warmth of the houses they visited and bringing candy and smiles to all the children's faces.
Connie was proceeded in death by her mother Elsey Dudley , father Jessie Paul Dudley, brother Junior Dudley and sister Shirley Pierce, her soulmate and husband Roy Coffer and their son Michael Coffer, one son-in-law Pete Whiteman and one granddaughter Heather Shockey.
She is survived by her two daughters Kathy Jackson of Sparta, Mo. and Jacquelyn Whiteman of Ava, Mo. Grandsons Jeremiah Shockey, Samuel Shockey, Caleb Shockey and one granddaughter Stephanie Whiteman. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her church family that she loved as her blood family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. A
Cremation is under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
