Collin Andrew Bettis, 24, passed away on July 28, 2015 at this home in Springfield, Missouri. He was born in Springfield, on May 21, 1991 to Mark and Tiffany (Thomas) Bettis. Collin graduated from Nixa High School. Collin was employed for four years with Polar Tank & Trailer in Springfield. He was also a member of the Teamster's Union. Collin was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt. He is survived by his brother, Brandon Thomas and wife Chelsey Thomas, his sister, Brittany Ballard, his stepfather, Rob Ballard, his step sister, Elora Ballard, his grandfather, Ordell Akre and wife Betty, his grandmother, LaVonda Akre, his great grandmother, Gladys Winge, his uncle, Brian Akre and wife Ruth, his aunt, Vicki Mosher and husband Sean, his nephew, Skyler Thomas, his niece, Harper Mihlfeld, a special friend, Kristina Keller; several cousins and many friends. Collin loved his family and enjoyed any "daring" activity. He enjoyed skateboarding, motorcycles, paintballing, and just hanging out with his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Reverend Jackie Barger officiating. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark.
