Cody Roy Uber, age 19, of Nixa, passed away early Thursday, November 27, 2014. He was born August 11, 1995, the son of Matt Uber and Robin Lee (Ray).
Cody graduated from Nixa High School where he enjoyed playing football, and was attending Missouri State University. He was outgoing and had a smile for everyone. He was a protective big brother, and a great role model to all younger family members. He was a good friend to many and never complained. He loved to be on the farm, riding horses, rodeoing, and spending time with his friends. Cody was a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Survivors include: His father and step-mother, Matt and Dana Uber of Nixa; His mother and step-father, Robin and Randy Cole of Nixa; a sister Kaylee Uber; a brother Clayton Uber; grandparents Leroy and Sharon Uber, Phyllis and Jeff Stegner, and Ed and Mary Ray; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; close friends, Matt Ramage, Tyler Rollings, and Nic Brand; and many other friends.
Cody and his best friend, Logan Middleton, both passed away together. It is comforting to the family they were not alone.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Nixa. Burial will follow in Glenn Cemetery, south of Nixa. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
