Cleora Mae Houser, age 80, of Nixa, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. She was born January 4, 1933 in Concordia, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Adele (Pinkepank) Wehrs. She was married to Edwin Copelin "Tim"� Houser on February 21, 1960 in Columbia, Missouri. Cleora was baptized in 1933 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Emma, Missouri. She most recently was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Nixa. Throughout her working career she was an office manager, secretary, and bookkeeper. Cleora enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and was a faithful fan of the Missouri Tigers and Cardinal Baseball Team. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim in 2005. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leland and Lester Wehrs, and a sister-in-law, Jo Houser Haring. Survivors include: Three brothers-in-law, Al Houser, Bennie V. Houser, and Bob Haring; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Houser; and six nieces and nephews and their families. A graveside funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 1, in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Adam Parvey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
