Cleo M. Davis, age 89, of Nixa passed away Tuesday March 4, 2017. She was born in Nixa to Fay and Agnes (Pope) Hunt. Cleo was a Cosmetologist for 50 years. She owned two beauty shops, The Pink Poodle and the Parisian.
Cleo's family says she was very outgoing and was witty. Cleo was very good at quotations and liked to write poetry. She loved dancing and was very active. She enjoyed needle point and painting glass with gold flake. Cleo made many friends over the years through her beauty shops and being part of the community. Cleo was a good Christian and was saved at an early age. She was devoted to her family and loved them dearly.
Survivors include: her son David Inmon, wife Patricia of Springfield; grandson Joshua Smith; great grandchildren Courtney Carr and James Brackney; a son-in-law Dean Lyon of Aurora; and many relatives and friends.
Cleo is preceded in death by her parents; daughter Sherrie Lyon; a sister Mary Etta Wilcox and one infant Sister.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow at Delaware Cemetery, Nixa.
