Clella Jane Cummings, age 101, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was born March 12, 1911, in Walnut Shade, the daughter of Jeff and Lilly (Estep) Blansit. On December 23, 1934 she was united in marriage to Walter E. Cummings. Clella was a member of Pleasant Shade Baptist Church in Walnut Shade and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Ozark. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school and bible school, and always had a positive attitude bringing joy to all those who knew her. She loved her family and enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flowers. Survivors include: Two daughters, Martha Mitchell of Greeley, Colorado, and Lola Mae Garrison, Ozark; three grandchildren, Daniel Garrison, Ozark, Victoria and Jeff Jones, Ozark, and Sheryl Smiley, Casper, Wyoming; nine great-grandchildren, Jack and Lincoln Jones, Brandon Mitchell, Jim Checkish, Michael, Adam, and Alyssa Mitchell, and Robert and Tiffeny Smiley; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cummings, in 1976, two grandchildren Michael and Sheree Mitchell, a sister, Gladys Hendrex, a brother, Cleo Blansit, and her parents. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 20, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Wayne Ferry and Ron Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
