Christian Clay Howard, age 32, of Ozark, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, July 11, 2012. She was born October 5, 1979, in Fairfax, Missouri, the daughter of Jackie Charles and Vicky Rose (Heldenbrand) Gonder. Christian was an EMT, working for the fire department and ambulance service. She enjoyed frogs of all sorts. She had a caring heart, and was helpful to all those in need. She was a loving wife to Todd, and was devoted to her daughter, Dacoda. Christian was a member of Overcoming Faith Church and Ozark V.F.W. Post Auxiliary. Survivors include: Her husband, Todd; her daughter, Dacoda; her parents, Jack and Vicky Gonder, Ozark; her grandmother, Shirley Heldenbrand, Ozark; a sister, Julia Rudd and husband Billy, Billings; a brother, Jason Gonder and Danielle, Yuma, Arizona; aunts and uncles, Billie Wilson, Marty Rasmussen, Clyde Heldenbrand, Jr., Caren Buckles, and John McGee; parents-in-law, Tom and Susan Howard, Springfield; aunt-in-law, Renee Howard; cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Saturday, July 14, at the Ozark V.F.W. Post #7628, 104 S. 1st St., Ozark. Burial will be at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
