Charlie B. Turner, born on September 28, 1940, passed away in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 82, on August 24, 2023.

After he was honorably discharged in 1964, Charlie served the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a State Trooper for Troop B in Macon, Missouri and for Troop I in Rolla, Missouri for 31 years retiring as a Zone Commander/Master Sergeant. Charlie worked for the Division of State Parks as a Park Ranger for Bennett Springs State Park and as a supervisor for several other State Parks. Charlie loved his family and enjoyed attending many ball games for his grandchildren. He was a family man that would ensure that he helped in any capacity. The one thing he said was his time, was when it was time for bow season; he could tell you how many days were left until the wake up. Charlie enjoyed being outside, deer hunting, and being in his favorite hunting spot that he called his Promise Land.
